The Dining Corridors

Orland Park's restaurants cluster along a handful of arterial roads. Knowing the geography helps you understand how the dining scene evolved alongside the village's retail boom.

La Grange Road (Rt. 45)
143rd to 168th St โ€” the main spine
The dominant dining corridor. Chains anchor the stretch from Olive Garden to Miller's Ale House; Fine dining like Osteria Ottimo, Seasons 52, and the new Fogo de Chao cluster here. The highest restaurant density in the village.
Harlem Avenue
156th to 164th St
Cooper's Hawk, Outback, Famous Dave's, and Barraco's anchor this parallel corridor. Slightly less trafficked than La Grange Rd but developing rapidly with new retail.
159th Street Corridor
Cicero Ave west to Wolf Rd
The neighborhood feel. Girl in the Park, The Patio (est. 1977), Lumes Pancake House, Shish Kabob House, Mo's Chinese Kitchen, Jewel of Siam. More local than chain, more walkable than most.
143rd Street
Older strip, west corridor
RoccoVino's, The Irish Patriot, P.F. Chang's, and Fox's Restaurant hold the older western section. The Mackey's Pub and Fox's serve their longtime regulars without fanfare.
Orland Square Mall Cluster
US-45 & La Grange Rd
Texas de Brazil, Cheesecake Factory, and Dave & Buster's anchor the mall-adjacent dining. Higher tourist/shopper traffic than the corridor restaurants.
Wolf Road South
159th to 180th St
Barraco's, Indra's Thai, Mo's Chinese (second location), and a scattering of fast casuals. Less dense but growing with residential development to the south and west.
